A woman has been attacked by a shark off the coast of Britain for the first time in 175 years, writes LADBible.
According to media reports, the victim of the attack was a swimmer who was snorkeling off the coast of Cornwall. The shark clung to the British woman’s leg, but after a struggle, she let go of the woman. The victim was able to swim to shore, where she received the necessary assistance.
“The Coast Guard team met the victim and handed her over to the paramedics,” the statement said.
At the moment, it is not known which shark attacked the woman, but local authorities noted that the last such case was recorded 175 years ago. At the moment, the British woman is in the hospital, where she continues her treatment.
