Space Perspective presented the design of the Neptune spacecraft capsule, and DIP reports concerning TravelPulse.com.
The capsule of the Neptune spacecraft is a drop-shaped sphere with panoramic windows. Those who will be inside it will have an almost 360-degree view.
The windows and the central part have a reflective coating. This allows you to limit heat and keep cool in the cabin. In addition, a special temperature control system has been installed.
The cone is splash-proof and provides a safe landing on the water.
It is noted that no elements are detached from the capsule, which also increases safety.
What the capsule will look like inside became known back in April. The interior of the Neptune spacecraft is designed with modern finishes made from environmentally friendly materials. Inside, the capsule looks more like a modern living room than a spaceship. Deep folding seats are installed, Wi-Fi is available, and there is a bar, and a toilet. You can freely walk around the salon and take photos.
It is assumed that the Neptune spacecraft will take travelers to Earth’s orbit and back as part of a six-hour excursion. Commercial flights will begin at the end of 2024, but flights are fully booked for the first year, and Space Perspective is taking bookings for 2025 and beyond. Tickets cost $125,000 per person.
