According to Dagens Nyheter, on February 12, a fire occurred in the water park of Sweden’s largest amusement park, Liseberg, in Gothenburg. As a result, at least 12 people were injured.
The fire occurred on the premises of the new Oceana Water World aquatic complex. According to construction company NCC, the fire started “in connection with work taking place there” and the building is in the final stages of construction.
According to eyewitnesses, several explosions occurred.
There are office premises and residential buildings near the park — people were evacuated. According to doctors, 12 people sought help; they had minor injuries.
