It’s time for holidays, but dreams of the sea are “forgotten” due to rising hotel prices. The travel experts at Bounce have done a massive study and found the most affordable budget beach destinations in Europe.
The leader of the rating is Benidorm, a popular resort town on the east coast of Spain. The average cost of living by the Mediterranean Sea is no more than $150 per night, and lunch at a local restaurant is about $12.
“Amazing views of both the new and the old city. Very nice cafes and bars to grab a bite to eat,” one satisfied tourist wrote on TripAdvisor.
In second place was another Mediterranean region of Spain. Valencia is a sunny port city and the birthplace of paella.
Dinner at a local cafe will cost you no more than $13. At the same time, the average cost of a hotel is slightly higher than in Benidorm – $ 160 per night.
The third position was occupied by the Portuguese city of Porto, known for its delicious wines and picturesque views. Cooler weather is offset by hot deals.
The prices are the same as in Benidorm: lunch in a cheap restaurant costs less than $12, and the average cost of a hotel stay is only $150.
The top four included Türkiye, a favorite among tourists. Popular among our holidaymakers, Bodrum offers affordable inclusive, and clean beaches. If you get hungry while walking around the city, then $ 5 for a snack is enough for you.
