Cyprus has simplified the rules of entry for tourists

The authorities of the Republic of Cyprus are waiving a number of anti-COVID measures starting from April 18. From this week, the color categorization of countries, which differed the rules for entering Cyprus, will be abolished, and the requirement to fill out the CyprusFlightPass form will be abolished.

Vaccinated tourists will only need a vaccination passport to enter Cyprus. Those who have not been vaccinated will need a negative PCR test result 72 hours before departure or an antigen test 24 hours before landing. Children under 12 are exempt from testing. The mandatory paid test on arrival for unvaccinated travelers will no longer be conducted from 18 April.

The cancellation of the CyprusFlightPass from April 18 does not mean that tourists are exempted from presenting medical documents confirming their anti-COVID status when visiting, for example, restaurants and cafes. In this case, they will need SafePass: its equivalent can be a vaccination certificate or a coronavirus test certificate. Documents must be in printed or electronic form with a QR code in English.
