In the Chinese province of Yunnan, a copy of the popular Greek island of Santorini was built on the slope of Mount Cangshan overlooking Lake Erhai.
The island has snow-white houses with blue windows, doors, and roofs, narrow streets decorated with flowers, and panoramic water views.
The stylized resort covers an area of 3,700 hectares: on its territory, there are hotels, restaurants, and shops.
8 billion yuan (more than 1 billion euros) was spent creating a copy of the Greek island.
