According to CNN, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner landed in Antarctica for the first time in history on November 15.
The airliner of Norse Atlantic Airways (Norway) took off from Oslo on November 13, made a stop in Cape Town, and went to Antarctica.
He landed on a runway made of ice and snow.
On board the aircraft were 45 passengers, scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute. The plane also carried 12 tons of research equipment.
