A US citizen has been arrested in Germany following a tragic incident at Neuschwanstein Castle in the south of the country. According to police, he pushed two compatriots from a height of 50 meters into a gorge.
The man reportedly persuaded the hikers to follow him down a path leading to a “good lookout” and then attacked them, knocking them down one by one.
One woman died in hospital, the other is in serious condition. The suspect fled the scene but was caught after a massive police operation.
