An original way to “involve as many people as possible in flying” was invented in the other hemisphere. There, airlines began allowing passengers to sell unclaimed air tickets to each other.
According to the Argentine press, we are talking about a local low-cost airline, Flybondi, which has developed a system that allows passengers to exchange tickets directly with each other, using blockchain technology for security.
“By expanding distribution, we strive to give the customer the freedom to do whatever they want with the ticket,” explained Flybondi CEO Mauricio Sana.
At the same time, the system will first be tested on domestic lines, and then it is planned to open on international lines. The airline expects that the system will attract more people to fly since such experience has not been available before.
