On Wednesday, April 12, in the morning, an aircraft of the Latvian airline airBaltic, heading to Gatwick Airport in London, collided with birds at Riga Airport, Latvian Television (LTV) reports.
The incident occurred with the YL-AAO aircraft, which was supposed to take off from Riga at 7:20, but took off shortly before 12:00, LTV reports.
airBaltic has not commented on the incident.
