Last night a fairly strong earthquake occurred in Italy, its magnitude was 5.0.
This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The epicenter of the seismic event was located 13 km southwest of the commune of Tolmezzo with a population of 8,000 people. The source of the earthquake lay at a depth of 10 km.
There has been no information yet about possible casualties or damage.
