At the Antalya airport, tourists filmed a tragic spectacle on their mobile phones. According to Haber Global, a Russian, the tourist tried to commit suicide right at the airport, in front of other passengers.
According to the newspaper, the emergency occurred at noon in the terminal №2 international lines of Antalya airport. A Russian citizen who arrived at the airport climbed to the second floor, climbed the iron railings of the fence, and put a wire around his neck.
The tourist, however, failed to carry out his intention, as the airport security services immediately mobilized. Airport officials opened the airbag to prevent the fall of a Russian tourist, and the next climbed the portable stairs. As a result, a Russian tourist with a cut wire around his neck fell on the airbag and was rescued at the last moment.
The tourist was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
