Two men survived an attack by a three-meter white shark in the United States, Surfer Magazine reports.
The men were paddle boarding on the beach in Eastham, Massachusetts, near the filming location of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws, when they were attacked by a man-eating shark.
According to Ray Trouts, he noticed her while standing on the board. At this time, the predator swam towards his cousin Pete Emond. He hit the water with his oar and the shark turned towards him.
“I started screaming at Pete to get on shore while the shark was circling behind me, very aggressive and agitated,” the man says.
Later, Trouts managed to get to land after his brother. Both surfers were not injured but were under enormous stress.
“I’ve seen a lot of great white sharks while surfing, but this one ranks right up there with them,” Trouts said.
