The NTV channel reports that in the Turkish province of Hatay, as a result of an earthquake, a big fault appeared on the surface of the earth with a width of more than 200 m and a depth of more than 30 m.
A soil shift occurred in a 35-hectare olive field in Tepehan village near Hatay.
According to residents, initially, they heard an intense explosion and then saw a giant crack in the ground.
As of the morning of February 12, as a result of a powerful earthquake that occurred in southeastern Turkey on February 6, more than 24,600 people were killed and more than 80,000 were injured. Tens of thousands of residents of the affected areas were evacuated.
According to UN emergency coordinator Martin Griffiths, the earthquake in Turkey was the strongest in the region over the past 100 years.
