A German woman was crowned hotel queen in Turkey, and here’s why

German citizen 61-year-old Sabine Daniels was awarded the honorary title of “hotel queen” for her 1,071-day stay at a five-star luxury hotel in Turkey, Haberturk reports.

Sabina is a frequent guest at one of the new five-star hotels in the Lara Kundu area, where she has stayed both with her family and alone, except during the period when restrictions were in force due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Noting that with a tourist visa she can stay in the country for no more than 90 days a year, the German woman said: “If it weren’t for this restrictive measure, I would have spent my whole life here.”

The woman shared that from the first day the hotel opened she felt at home and expressed her gratitude to the hotel director. In the letter, she stated that this was her 39th stay at the hotel, staying for 3 months twice a year, and that she appreciated the excellent service. The hotel management calculated that Sabine Daniels lived for 1071 days over a period of 9 years and proclaimed her the “queen of the hotel.”

Sabina confessed her love for Turkey and the local climate, noting that it is better for her health to be here than in her homeland. She said that she considers Turkey her second home.

The founder of the hotel, Ramazan Aslan, personally presented her with the well-deserved title of “queen of the hotel” and emphasized that the entire hotel staff treats the guest from Germany with great warmth.
