A tourist from the UK disappeared without a trace in the waters of Phang Nga, reports the Daily Mail.
It is known that 57-year-old British woman Millie Young and her friends went on a sea excursion in Thailand. Their boat was caught in a storm near the Surin Islands, as a result of which the boat with passengers and crew capsized. The publication reports that Millie had dreamed of this trip all her life, so she decided to spend her vacation with loved ones.
Fishermen who were nearby managed to save 12 tourists and 4 crew members. But Young and another Thai woman on board the ship disappeared without a trace. The search continued for the third day, a helicopter and dozens of boats were involved.
An inflatable life raft was reportedly found 20 miles from the shipwreck, but it was empty.
