The family rested in a hotel in the Incekum district of Alanya. 5-year-old Teodora S. went into the pool to play. After swimming for some time, she began to flutter and sink. Seeing that there is a danger for the child, the vacationers who surrounded her pulled the child out of the pool. An ambulance and gendarmerie were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams that arrived at the scene provided first aid, after which Teodora was sent to a private hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, it was not possible to save the child. The Gendarmerie has started an investigation into the incident, OFFNews reports.
