Today, many of us can visit almost anywhere in the world. But there are also places in the world where entry is either completely closed or severely restricted. There are five such places in total.

Surtsey Island
This small island is located off the coast of Iceland. In addition, it is considered the youngest island on the planet, and its age is only 59 years. Entrance to this island is prohibited, as a scientific experiment is being carried out on its territory. Scientists monitor how an ecosystem is born and develops.
Queimada Grande Island
Its other name is Snake Island. It is located a few ten kilometers from the coast of Brazil. And in one straightforward place on this island, you can meet one to five snakes, often the most dangerous in the world. For this reason, the Brazilian government has banned visiting this island.
Doomsday Vault
This is a kind of bunker where they store the seeds of all agricultural plants known to man. Thanks to this, in the event of any catastrophe on the planet, it will be possible to restore these plants. Only special guests can enter this vault, and on certain days.
Ise Grand Shrine
It is considered one of the most expensive in Japan. Only members of the royal family can get there.
North Sentinel Island
This island is inhabited by the Sentinelese, who are not at all interested in interacting with the outside world. Moreover, they can quickly kill any uninvited guest. Also, the Indian government has banned entry to this island because the entire tribe of residents can die if someone passes on a disease to which they have no immunity.
