In 2025, tourists are going to be sent to the stratosphere in a hot air balloon. Those who wish will have to pay at least 120 thousand euros for an unusual flight.
The French company Zephalto is going to launch tours into the stratosphere by 2025. They will be performed in a hot air balloon.
According to the plans, the balloons will start from France. They will be raised to a height of 25 kilometers above the Earth level – there you can already see the curve of the planet and the darkness of space. The journey will take 90 minutes. Another 90 is the way back. Tourists will stay in the stratosphere for three hours.
Zephalto plans to operate about 60 flights per year. Each accepts up to six passengers. You can book flights now. Prices start from 120 thousand euros per person.
Zephalto is not the first company to venture into space tourism. Flights to the stratosphere and space are already offered by the American Space Perspective, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic.
