Wizz Air has announced a complete suspension of flights to Russian airports. The decision was made “for operational reasons,” the carrier said.
Passengers of canceled flights are offered to change the dates of departure, choose an alternative direction, or issue a forced refund of the ticket price in full. It is clarified that the company’s customers can independently contact the call center or wait for an information letter to the e-mail specified during booking.
“Dear passengers, follow the instructions received from us by email, and also use the self-service service available to you in your Wizz Air account,” the airline said in a statement.
Note that the carrier operates flights not only to European airports. In particular, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi operated flights from Russia to the UAE, which are also now unavailable.
