The Bees Airline low-cost airline allowed passengers to send money for air tickets when a flight is canceled to help the Ukrainian army.
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, all flights in the Ukrainian skies have been canceled since February 24 for an indefinite period.
To transfer money to the army, you need to write an email to support@bees.aero. In the subject line of the letter, you need to indicate “Consume ZSU”, and in the letter itself – the booking number and a request to transfer money to the army.
“The funds will be transferred to official accounts to support the armed forces of Ukraine to restore peace. After the transfer of funds, you will receive a report on the total amount of transfers,” Bees Airline said.
Also, money for tickets for canceled flights can be “frozen” in US dollars in order to later use them to buy new tickets after the resumption of flights.
Bees Airline, like other Ukrainian airlines, does not currently offer a refund to a passenger’s card.
