Emirates has announced a review of its return and exchange policy, offering customers even more confidence and flexibility when planning trips.
Tickets purchased before September 30, 2020 inclusive for travel before December 31, 2021, can now be used at any time for 36 months. This is 12 months longer than originally planned.
Tickets purchased after October 1, 2020 for travel up to and including December 31, 2021, can be used at any time for 24 months.
Emirates will not charge for changes to the reservation and will make a full refund for vouchers and unused tickets.
Passengers who have purchased a ticket directly from Emirates – at emirates.com or at local Emirates offices – do not need to contact the airline themselves, as their tickets will be automatically renewed. Passengers who have purchased a ticket from travel agencies will need to contact the representatives of their agencies before the expiration of the ticket to renew it.

Emirates became the first airline in the world to provide extended travel insurance to all passengers. The airline is now extending its validity until further notice (instead of the one originally scheduled for March 31, 2021), giving passengers more opportunities to travel without unnecessary experience.
