On April 8, residents of some countries could observe a total solar eclipse.
The total phase of the eclipse was observed by residents of Mexico, North America and Canada. Partial phases of the eclipse were visible in North America, as well as in places in Western Europe and Central America.
Residents of those countries where the phenomenon could be observed generously share footage on social networks.
The American billionaire, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, did not stand aside.

“It was cool to see the eclipse from Austin. It won’t happen again here until 27 years later,” Musk wrote.
The moment of the eclipse was also shown by members of the International Space Station, who could observe the phenomenon from Earth orbit.
