KoBold Metals, a mining company backed by billionaires including Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, has signed a contract with Bluejay Mining (JAY.L) to search for critical materials used in electric vehicles in Greenland, London.
KoBold, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to search for raw materials, will pay $ 15 million to study the Disco-Nusack project on the west coast of Greenland in exchange for a 51% stake in the project, Bluejay said.
The license contains metals such as nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum, and funding will cover forecasts and initial drilling.
