A passenger plane Sukhoi Superjet 100, which was en route from Ekaterinburg to Moscow, made an emergency landing in Kazan after the alarm was given, a source in the aviation services told TASS on Thursday.
“The plane successfully landed at Kazan airport,” the source said.
“The Yekaterinburg-Moscow flight made an emergency landing at Kazan airport due to technical problems. Another plane will take passengers to Moscow,” Sergei Starikov, a spokesman for Russia, told TASS.
Earlier it was reported that the Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane, bound for Moscow, sounded the alarm during the flight over Udmurtia about an hour after departure from Ekaterinburg. He changed course and dropped to 2100 meters.
The fact of landing the plane was confirmed at the Kazan airport. “The plane landed normally,” the spokesman said.
