The official website of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia suffered a cyber attack in the midst of the war with Ukraine, the Russian state news agency TASS reported late Wednesday.
On the main page of the site there were several hyperlinks with the words “Do not believe the Russian media – they are lying”, “Complete information about the war in Ukraine”, “Russia’s default is imminent”.
“The number of the hotline on the main page of the site has been changed to Ukrainian,” the statement said.
Now the site is undergoing maintenance, the hotline number has been replaced by Russian ones.
The websites of all regional and central departments of the ministry also do not work, TASS reports.
