In Sharjah, a program has been launched that allows tourists to rent housing from owners. Now more than 300 objects of various types are already available for rent to foreigners. According to forecasts, during the first year of the program, about 150 more owners of apartments and houses will issue a license.
Owners wishing to rent out their property must provide documents confirming that the property is fit for use and meets the necessary criteria. Violators of the requirements for landlords will be punished.
Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Committee Chairman Khalid Jasim Al-Midfa said the new service will make the emirate even more popular with foreign visitors.
