Not all Egyptian homes have central plumbing. The water brought in is of inferior quality: it tastes of chlorine and has an unpleasant musty smell. No filter will help clean it. Therefore, it is worth renting housing in houses with a central water supply.
In Egypt, there are problems with electricity. It can be turned off up to several times a day. And to pay for the light you need to use a special card.
We are also used to good unlimited home internet. In Egyptian apartments, it is not. Separate day and night quotas are provided, for the combination of which you have to pay extra. Otherwise, you can suddenly be left without the Internet. In this case, it is better to give preference to wired Internet, as it is faster and more stable.
When choosing accommodation, also check the air conditioning. It is in most apartments due to abnormal heat reaching 40 degrees, but the problem is that it does not work everywhere.
