According to REN TV, in the Philippines, the Bulusan volcano threw out a powerful column of hot steam and ash.
The eruption of steam and ash was preceded by 77 earthquakes. There were no reports of casualties, injuries, or damage.
According to specialists from the National Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, Bulusan’s activity is gradually increasing, but it is too early to talk about the beginning of a large-scale eruption.
Bulusan is a stratovolcano with a height of 1535 m, it is located in the Philippine province of Sorsogon, 250 km southeast of Manila.
