Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp wants to resume flights to help the army

Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp wants to resume flights in safe areas in order to pay taxes to help the Ukrainian army and the victims of the Russian invasion.

The carrier offered companies around the world to wet lease 15 of its aircraft. This is a type of lease when crews are transferred along with the airliners.

Wet leasing will allow the use of idle aircraft and SkyUp flight personnel, who are currently unable to fly due to the war in Ukraine.

“By renting our aircraft, you will help SkyUp continue its operations during the war and pay taxes, save jobs for 1,300 employees, and support affected Ukrainians. We will send every tenth dollar or euro earned to help the victims of the war,” SkyUp said.

The Ukrainian airline noted that it is ready to work with any customers who do not fly to Russia and Belarus. You can order a plane by phone +380 67 238 0538 or email o.tarasov@skyup.aero.
