The profile site for the travel industry in Ukraine turprofi.com.ua has published the recommendation of the Ukrainian Association of Travel Agencies (UATA) regarding online services of Russian origin.
“If you have already purchased a product and it does not need further support from the developers, then the possible problems are limited only to potential vulnerabilities due to backdoors and / or transfer of your information to servers in the Russian Federation,” the message says (translated from Ukrainian) . “If a previously purchased service requires a subscription fee, then the search for alternatives becomes an urgent need,” UATA addresses travel agencies.
The association provides a list of IT products, explaining that for convenience it has been divided into categories.
The block of CRM and services for tour selection includes both global companies (1C and Bitrix) and purely professional systems: Qui-Quo, Yuon, SAMO-tour, Master-Tour, Master-Agent, MAG.Travel, NEMO Travel. In the search for air tickets – only one participant: Aviasales.
The list also includes: webinar platform; companies providing email marketing services; toolkit for sites and sharing screenshots/files.
The author of the publication on the information resource notes that market participants are discussing alternatives, for example, SAMO-tour. In the profile group they call it tourismpro.com.ua. “However, by the time the tourist business resumes in Ukraine, new software may be created, so you can think about replacing services even after the victory,” turprofi.com.ua predicts.
