The so-called i. about. During his visit to Yalta, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region Radik Isyakaev spoke about the intentions to build a tourist cluster on the coast of the Sea of Azov. The project, which is currently being worked on, was called the “Azov coast”.
The cluster will include recreation centers, hotels, and sanatoriums. Isyakaev suggests this will help attract a broad audience: “In the future, I am sure it will be a world-class resort.” They want to learn from Crimea’s experience. He noted that there could be no talk of competition with the peninsula. Rather, the resorts will complement each other: “Inhabitants of some regions of the Crimea used to rest in the Zaporizhzhia region.” He added that he hopes for the revival of this tradition.
According to Isyakaev, the region is aware of the problems in the tourism sector. First of all, they relate to the shortage of personnel in various areas, including service and organization of the process.
