Ugandan authorities have reported a case of Ebola in the country, AP reports.
The East African country’s Ministry of Health said a 24-year-old man died of an infectious disease in the central province of Mubende.
This is the first case of Ebola in Uganda this year.
The country faced four waves of infection – in 2000, 2014, 2017 and 2019. The first wave was the strongest. At that time, 425 cases and 225 victims were identified.
