According to The Pattaya News, in 18 provinces of Thailand, including the resort regions of Chonburi, Phuket, Krabi, and metropolitan Bangkok, the number of cases of dengue fever is growing. This was stated by the Thai Department of Disease Control.
Over the past 18 weeks, cases of dengue fever have been detected most often in eight provinces, including Krabi and Phuket.
It is specified that the number of cases of dengue fever in the past four weeks exceeded the average number for the previous five years over the same period.
If the increase in incidence does not stop, the Department of Disease Control has the right to declare areas where the fever is spreading as epidemic zones.
