An investigation into yet another victim of plastic surgery has begun in Istanbul. The reason for this was a tourist from Ireland who underwent plastic surgery in Turkey and died in her hotel. We will remind you that recently many foreigners, including Russians, go to Turkey on medical tours, but they turned out to be so dangerous that the British authorities officially recommended it to their citizens.
According to Turizm Ajansi, a tourist from Ireland, Annette Barbara Roeder, came to Istanbul to “tighten her cheeks and hands” as agreed with a local doctor. She arrived in Istanbul on October 2 and settled in a hotel in Bagjilar. The operation was supposed to be done in a private clinic in Sultangaz.
As the publication adds, the operation itself went well. However, six days after the medical intervention, the tourist suddenly became ill. She was taken to the hospital, but it was not possible to save the Irish woman – she died, despite all the efforts of the doctors.
The tourist’s body was taken to the institution of forensic medical examination to establish the exact cause of death. An investigation has been launched into the doctor and hospital that performed the procedure.
