Travel regime for citizens of Ukraine

Entry mode: Visa
There is a visa regime between Ukraine and Lebanon. Depending on the type of visa, the Lebanese embassy in Ukraine, the General Directorate of General Security of Lebanon, at the checkpoint across the state border of Lebanon:

– transit visa (similar to the Ukrainian visa type “B”)
is issued at the checkpoint across the state border on arrival – for 24 or 48 hours. Visa fees are not charged to Ukrainian citizens;

– short-term visa (analog of the Ukrainian visa “C”)
one-time – issued at the checkpoint across the state border on arrival – for 1 month, in the form of a mark on the border crossing and the inscription “one month”, usually for tourist or private travel. The actual period of stay should not exceed 2 months. Visa fees are not charged to Ukrainian citizens.

single, double or multiple – issued at the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic in Ukraine – for 3 or 6 months. The consular fee is charged in accordance with the established tariffs;

– visa for the purpose of employment (analog of the Ukrainian visa of type “D”)

is made out at the checkpoint across the state border on arrival, but by prior decision of the General Directorate of General Security of Lebanon.

When entering Lebanon, fill in the appropriate card (in English or French), which must include, among other things, the address of stay in Lebanon and contact details of the inviting party (if a tourist trip – the name and address of the hotel where the room is booked).

For short-term travel, you must have a return ticket and funds to cover your stay in Lebanon (the cost of a room in a standard hotel is 80-100 US dollars per night).

Please note that according to the established rules and practices, persons who previously worked in Lebanon under the contracts of masseurs, models or artists can enter the country only on a visa of the same type. This restriction is not valid. Exceptions are made only for persons who have married Lebanese nationals and, at the request of the latter, obtained prior permission from the General Directorate of General Security of Lebanon.
