The terrorist group “Islamic State” issued a statement calling on its members to intensify attacks around the world, especially in Europe, where the focus is now on the war in Ukraine, according to AFP.
ISIS spokesman Abu Omar al-Mujahir said members of the group were planning revenge for the death of former jihadist leader Abu Ibrahim al-Quraishi, and that revenge meant intensifying the attacks.
“Proponents of ISIS must seize the opportunity while the Crusaders fight each other in Ukraine and carry out attacks in Europe,” al-Mujahideen said.
He also spoke about the current situation in Israel and the conflicts between the Israeli army and police and the Palestinians.
“Jerusalem can be liberated from the Jews only through the return of the caliphate, not through the Palestinian uprising or with the help of those whose values change in the interests of their Western masters,” al-Mujahideen said.
He called on all Muslims in the Arab world to oppose leaders who have good relations with Israel.
“Modern Muslim politicians seeking to liberate Jerusalem are puppets in the hands of Israel and the West,” al-Mujahideen said in a statement.
