A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook the coast of Iceland. This was reported by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center with reference to TASS.
According to him, the epicenter was located 230 km northwest of Reykjavik, where about 118 thousand people live.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
No tsunami alert was issued.
