This information, by the way, is actively quoted by the Turkish media, stating that despite the increase in hotel prices due to the cost, holidays in Turkey are still cheap for foreigners – and significantly more affordable than the above competitors.
They also cite a report by the British Post Office and TUI, which compared prices for 16 famous destinations and found that Turkey is the cheapest. “Turkey is becoming cheaper due to high inflation and an unstable economy in the country,” the British assure. Portugal and Bulgaria were also included in the list of the cheapest popular countries.
