In Poland, hotel prices have risen sharply due to rising electricity and gas prices. Such data was presented by the Economic Chamber of the Polish Hotel Industry.
According to experts, 86% of hotels in Poland have raised their prices as electricity bills have risen by 200% compared to September 2021. Gas prices rose by an average of 312%, and in some residential properties – even by 1000%.
The situation is also negatively affected by the fall in demand. In September, less than half of the hotels were booked at 70%, and at 50%, tourists booked only a fifth of the hotels in October, for November – only about 3%.
