British entrepreneur and university lecturer Stephen Northam, who admitted he knows nothing about airplanes, bought a 1960s Boeing 737-200 on eBay for £5,000 and turned it into a two-story vacation home, The Sun tells.
Visitors enter the plane via the boarding ramp, and in the cabin, they will find original accessories: chairs, hanging lockers, and even a flight simulator in the cockpit.
The front half of the 737 airliners is designed for four people: there is a double bed in the cargo hold and a hot tub in an old jet engine casing.
Guests can also use the original onboard toilet.
Repair of the plane cost the man 15 thousand pounds in three months. He named the original holiday home Marwell High Club, due to its proximity to the Marwell Zoo in Winchester.
