The international hotel operator Hyatt will suspend the management of hotels in Russia from May 14. This was stated by Hotel Development Company LLC, which owns Hyatt hotels in Yekaterinburg.
The management of two hotels in Yekaterinburg will be transferred to the Russian employees of the LLC.
It is clarified that at the moment in the case of Yekaterinburg, we are not talking about stopping the work of hotels, or about changing the brand. All agreements between partners also remain in force.
The decision made is temporary, it can be changed along with changing circumstances. It is also noted that the new decision will not affect the level of service, since “employees and hotel management will continue to focus on international hospitality standards.”
Recall that in total the Hyatt chain had six hotels in Russia. She has already suspended work with the Moscow hotel Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park and refused to manage the Sochi hotel Hyatt Regency Sochi, which changed its name to Grand Karat Sochi on April 15.
