France to abolish masks on public transport from May 16

The French authorities have decided to cancel the mandatory mask regime in public transport from May 16. This was stated by the head of the French Ministry of Health Olivier Veran.

The decision was made in connection with the improved epidemiological situation in the country, “although the pandemic is not over yet.” It applies to all types of transport – metro, buses, trains and planes.

Recall that since March 14, the mandatory wearing of masks in the premises has been canceled in France.
