Russia seeks to sabotage the architecture of European security and is making a clear attempt to rewrite the rules of the world order, said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, quoted by AFP.
“We cannot allow this, we have faced a blatant attempt to rewrite the rules of the international order,” von der Leyen said at the Munich Security Conference, where she also criticized the China-Russia alliance, which seeks to impose a “stronger law.”
The president of the European Commission warned Moscow that its way of thinking from the dark past could cost Russia “future prosperity”.
“The world is anxiously watching the largest concentration of troops on European soil since the dark days of the Cold War, as recent events could change the entire international order,” von der Leyen was quoted as saying by Reuters.
