The European Commission has offered Ukraine accelerated accession to the European Union. At the meeting between the President of the European Commission and President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine received a special questionnaire, which is a step towards granting candidate status to the EU.
Von der Leyen assured Zelensky that the EU would support Ukraine so that its passage would take “weeks, not years.”
