Plane with Russian parcels burned down at Chinese airport

Last weekend at the Hangzhou airport (China) a Tu-204 cargo plane of the Russian airline Aviastar-TU burned down.

According to RBC, the plane arrived from the Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport. The fire broke out in the plane while it was being towed to the runway. Firefighters arrived at the scene two minutes after the fire was reported.

Eight crew members were on board, they were rescued. But 26 tons of jet fuel and 22 tons of cargo – mostly postal parcels from Chinese online stores – were burned.
