According to the New South Wales police, a man died as a result of a shark attack on the southeast coast of Sydney.
“Police are investigating a report of a shark attack on a swimmer east of Sydney. Ambulances arrived at Malabar Beach and found human remains in the water,” the statement said.
The beach and the surrounding area are closed to the public, and the police are checking and investigating the circumstances of the death of the victim.
This is the first fatal shark attack in Sindh since 1963, according to law enforcement. There have been four reported shark attacks in Australia since the start of this year, three in New South Wales and one in Western Australia.
