A Qantas airliner flying from New Zealand to Sydney raised an alarm over the ocean, the Associated Press reports.
Qantas Flight 144 is scheduled to land at 3:00 PM at Sydney Airport.
NSW Ambulance Service confirmed its paramedics had responded to the alarm.
FlightRadar, a specialized website for tracking flights, states that the plane is currently over the Pacific Ocean, writes VTA.
A warning is issued when an aircraft is in serious and imminent danger.
