After years of planning and construction, Egypt has officially opened the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — a monumental cultural project set to redefine the country’s tourism landscape. The museum’s modern triangular glass façade mirrors the geometry of the pyramids, while twelve expansive galleries trace Egypt’s evolution from prehistory to the Greco-Roman era.

At the heart of the museum lies the world’s most complete Tutankhamun collection, comprising more than 5,000 objects displayed together for the first time. Visitors can admire the boy king’s golden mask, chariots, thrones, sarcophagi, and other masterpieces — all showcased in state-of-the-art conditions with immersive lighting and interactive storytelling.
