The Irish authorities plan to issue five-year visas to foreigners. This decision was made by the country’s government on April 22, as part of changes in the system for issuing long-term visas.
Citizens of all countries requiring a visa to Ireland can now apply for a visa for up to five years.
Under the new rules, individuals who frequently visit the UK, the Schengen area, the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand and do not violate visa regulations can also apply for a multi-year visa to Ireland (any duration from one to five years), even if previously they have never been to this country.
